Transboundary Cooperation

Transboundary Cooperation is a programme of the Free State Saxony to finance events and projects of regional cross border collaboration. It is its objective to maintain and to intensify contacts between German and Czech municipals, associations, schools et cetera within the Euroregion Elbe/Labe by financial support. It concerns measures, which won’t supported by the support programme Objective 3 .

Normally, the height of funding is up to 1,500 EUR.

Following measures are able to be supported:

• symposia, conferences and seminars;
• culture and sport events, exhibitions, workshops;
• meetings of communal politicians;
• production of publications and information material.

Applicants could be municipal communities, e.g. the Saxon Euroregions, associations, public corporations, educational institutions and churches in the Euroregion Elbe/Labe.
